High above a small green valley, where the rivers sparkled like silver ribbons and the cows looked like tiny white buttons, lived a little cloud named [Puff](5F2ZZQNR). [Puff](5F2ZZQNR) wasn’t like the other clouds. The other clouds were big and bold. They rumbled and roared with thunder, but [Puff](5F2ZZQNR) didn’t like loud noises at all.

Whenever the older clouds began to grumble, [Puff](5F2ZZQNR) would float behind the tallest mountain and cover his fluffy ears. “I don’t want to be scary,” [Puff](5F2ZZQNR) whispered. “What if I frighten someone?”

One sunny afternoon, the Sky Council gathered. [Elder Nimbus](KZKZM32N), a large, wise-looking gray cloud, said, “The valley hasn’t had rain in weeks. The flowers are thirsty. The river is shrinking. We must send rain.” All the big clouds puffed up proudly, but [Elder Nimbus](KZKZM32N) turned to [Puff](5F2ZZQNR) and said, “Today, little one, it’s your turn.”

Floating toward the valley, [Puff](5F2ZZQNR) saw the droopy flowers and tired grass below. Even the birds were quiet. [Puff](5F2ZZQNR)’s heart felt heavy. “I don’t want to scare them,” he murmured. He carefully let out a tiny drizzle of rain. Drip, drip, drip. The flowers stretched, the grass perked up, and a rabbit danced happily.

Just as [Puff](5F2ZZQNR) started to feel proud, a strong wind pushed him across the sky. He bumped into a big, dark cloud named [Stormer](2CLBRGGG). KABOOM! A small thunderclap escaped as [Stormer](2CLBRGGG)’s lightning flashed inside him. [Puff](5F2ZZQNR) froze, but down below, a little boy looked up and grinned. “Rain!” he cheered.

Children ran outside with boots and umbrellas, splashing in puddles and laughing. [Puff](5F2ZZQNR) watched in surprise as no one seemed scared of the thunder. “Maybe thunder isn’t so bad,” [Puff](5F2ZZQNR) thought. Gaining courage, he let out a soft, gentle rumble: Rrrrmmm…

The rain poured stronger, watering the trees and gardens below. [Puff](5F2ZZQNR)y white mist rose around the river as it filled and began to sing again. When the sun peeked through the clouds, it painted a rainbow across the sky, filling the valley with color.

High above, [Puff](5F2ZZQNR) felt warm and glowy. He wasn’t the biggest or loudest cloud, but he had learned something important. Even the smallest cloud can do big, brave things. From that day on, when gentle thunder rolled across the sky, the children would smile and say, “That sounds like [Puff](5F2ZZQNR).”
