I love playing soccer at school. It’s fast, fun, and I feel strong when I play.

1

Sometimes things don’t go the way I expect. A teammate might not pass. Someone might play rough. Or I might miss a goal.

2

When that happens, I feel big emotions — like anger, frustration, or sadness. That’s normal. Everyone feels that sometimes.

3

But I always have a choice. I can shout, kick the ball too hard, or storm off… or I can pause and use my strengths.

4

I can take three deep breaths. I can say to myself: ‘I’m a fair player,’ or ‘I can stay calm.’

5

If I make a mistake and lose my temper, I can walk away for a moment and ask for help. Later, I can say sorry and talk about what happened.

6

When we talk things out, it builds trust. When I make things right, I feel proud. That’s using my strengths: self-control, fairness, and honesty.

7

Soccer is about more than winning. It’s about teamwork, respect, and fun.

8

Every time I choose to stay calm, I become a stronger player — and a stronger person.
