It was a perfect sunny morning when [Major](P2WJH679), [Marlo](JBHDL97D), and [Darie](FFYKWG22) arrived at their [Pawpaw](WCH46L7C)’s country home. They couldn’t wait to head down to the pond with their fishing gear!

At the pond, [Pawpaw](WCH46L7C) handed out fishing rods and showed [Marlo](JBHDL97D) how to attach the bait. [Major](P2WJH679) was ready to cast his line, and [Darie](FFYKWG22) stood back, watching cautiously.

The group settled on the wooden dock, their fishing lines gliding into the calm water. [Major](P2WJH679) tapped his foot impatiently, [Marlo](JBHDL97D) hummed a happy tune, and [Darie](FFYKWG22) sat at the farthest edge of the dock, holding his rod nervously.

Splash! [Marlo](JBHDL97D) was the first to catch a fish. He pulled it out of the water, with a huge grin on his face. 'Look at this one!' he called excitedly.

[Major](P2WJH679) became frustrated. His line hadn’t moved all morning. 'Why is [Marlo](JBHDL97D) catching everything?' he grumbled. [Pawpaw](WCH46L7C) patted his shoulder, 'Patience, [Major](P2WJH679). The fish will come.'

Splash, splash! Another fish leaped onto [Marlo](JBHDL97D)'s line. This time, [Marlo](JBHDL97D) turned to show [Darie](FFYKWG22) his slippery catch. [Darie](FFYKWG22) jumped back, shouting, 'Stop, [Marlo](JBHDL97D)! It’s not funny!'

As the afternoon continued, [Major](P2WJH679) finally felt a tug on his line. With [Pawpaw](WCH46L7C)’s help, he reeled in his first fish of the day. 'I did it!' [Major](P2WJH679) cheered.

By the time the sun dipped low, everyone was laughing and swapping stories. Even [Darie](FFYKWG22) admitted that fishing wasn’t so bad after all—just as long as the fish stayed far away!

As they walked back to the house, [Marlo](JBHDL97D) carried the fish, [Major](P2WJH679) walked taller with pride, and [Darie](FFYKWG22) made [Pawpaw](WCH46L7C) promise there would be no fish at dinner!
