Ollie felt lonely and often thought about solving his problem. One day, he saw [Uncle Shallot](6VKLN7YJ) wearing a thick, brown woolly coat. It gave Ollie an idea. "If I wear a coat like that, maybe it can hide my smell!" he thought excitedly.

As his birthday approached, Ollie decided to ask for a woolly coat just like [Uncle Shallot](6VKLN7YJ)'s. When the day finally arrived, Ollie eagerly opened his gift and found exactly what he asked for. He wore it proudly!

All the other vegetables admired Ollie’s new coat, and for the first time, nobody cried around him. Ollie was thrilled! He wore the coat everywhere he went and enjoyed the compliments from his friends.

As summer arrived, Ollie started feeling very hot in his coat. He was sweating excessively, and before long, everyone noticed that he smelled unpleasant again.

Upset, Ollie ran to the beach to think. He sat on the sand, next to his woolly coat, feeling miserable. But then, a delicious smell filled the air.

[Tina Turnip](Z4V4L5HN) skipped by and said, "Whoa! You’ve caught a wonderful, golden tan, [Ollie Onion](965QRTFP)!" Ollie looked at his skin, realizing he had started to caramelize in the heat. The delicious smell was him!

Excitedly, Ollie ran back to the vegetable patch to show his friends his golden caramelized skin. Everyone cheered for his new scent, and not one veggie cried!

When Ollie got home, he carefully put his woolly coat into his cupboard. "I’ll keep you safe until next winter," he said happily. "Problem solved!"

From that day on, [Ollie Onion](965QRTFP) lived happily as a delicious, golden onion in the summer and a cozy woolly-coated onion in the winter. And best of all, he never made anyone cry again!
