Once upon a time, there was a four-year-old girl named [Molly](H43S5C77). [Molly](H43S5C77) had the wildest curly brown hair, bright green eyes, and loved her yellow polka-dotted jumper. But today, [Molly](H43S5C77) was feeling very, VERY mad. She stomped her feet and crossed her arms, because she had been told to clean up her toys, and she did NOT want to.

1

‘Life isn’t fair!’ [Molly](H43S5C77) shouted. She plopped onto the floor and frowned so hard her cheeks puffed up. That’s when, out of the corner of her eye, she noticed something sparkly near the bookshelf. It was a teeny, tiny rabbit wearing glasses and a bowtie!

2

‘Hello there,’ said the rabbit in a squeaky, cheerful voice. ‘I’m [Mr. Nibbles](G9PZF3YG), the Kindness Explorer! I’ve come to ask for your help. Our magical forest has lost its kindness, and I think someone brave like YOU can bring it back!’

3

[Molly](H43S5C77) grumbled, ‘I don’t feel like helping anyone right now.’ [Mr. Nibbles](G9PZF3YG) twitched his nose. ‘Maybe helping others will make YOU feel better too! If you don’t believe me, just take one small step into the forest with me.’

4

Curiosity got the best of [Molly](H43S5C77). When she stepped through the doorway, she found herself in the most magical forest she had ever seen. The trees shimmered with rainbow-colored leaves, and tiny creatures flew around like glowing bubbles. ‘Wow,’ whispered [Molly](H43S5C77).

5

‘The first stop is here,’ [Mr. Nibbles](G9PZF3YG) said, pointing to a family of squirrels. The squirrels looked worried. ‘We lost our acorns, and now we can’t make a party supper!’ [Molly](H43S5C77) thought for a moment. ‘I can help you gather some!’ she said.

6

[Molly](H43S5C77) picked up acorns from under trees and near bushes, dropping them into the basket. ‘Here you go!’ she said with a big smile. The squirrels squeaked with joy and gave her the shiniest acorn as a thank-you gift.

7

As they walked deeper into the forest, [Molly](H43S5C77) got excited about helping the creatures they met. She helped a hedgehog untangle its quills and even organized a snail race! ‘Helping is fun!’ [Molly](H43S5C77) said, giggling.

8

By the time they reached the heart of the forest, it seemed brighter and happier. [Molly](H43S5C77) twirled around. ‘Is the forest better now?’ ‘Thanks to you, yes!’ [Mr. Nibbles](G9PZF3YG) said. [Molly](H43S5C77) realized it felt really good to help.

9

When [Molly](H43S5C77) returned home, she cleaned up her toys without being asked. Her mom looked surprised. [Molly](H43S5C77) smiled and said, ‘Being helpful makes the world nicer—and it makes me happy too!’
