[May](VJ5ZSGKD) really wanted to learn how to ride a horse. She asked her father, "Dad, can I learn to ride a horse?"

Her father replied, "Of course you can, [May](VJ5ZSGKD). We’re going to [Uncle Tama](HPRL4RQ3)'s farm this weekend! He has horses and will teach you how to ride one!" [May](VJ5ZSGKD) was so excited.

The weekend came quickly, and they headed to the farm. [Uncle Tama](HPRL4RQ3) was waiting for them with a wide smile.

[Uncle Tama](HPRL4RQ3) introduced them to [Paleface](B29BSVRV), a beautiful creamy horse with blue eyes. He warned that [Paleface](B29BSVRV) was very picky about riders.

When [Paleface](B29BSVRV) met [May](VJ5ZSGKD), something special happened. The horse seemed to instantly like her. [May](VJ5ZSGKD) gave the horse carrots and apples she had brought.

[May](VJ5ZSGKD) asked, "Do you like the food I brought you?" To everyone’s surprise, [May](VJ5ZSGKD) heard [Paleface](B29BSVRV) softly say, "Yes, and I like you too."

With no hesitation, [Paleface](B29BSVRV) knelt down so [May](VJ5ZSGKD) could climb onto her back. It was something [Uncle Tama](HPRL4RQ3) had never seen before.

[May](VJ5ZSGKD) rode [Paleface](B29BSVRV) around the farm, giggling with delight. [Paleface](B29BSVRV) trotted smoothly and carefully as if they had been friends forever.

[Uncle Tama](HPRL4RQ3) said, "This horse has chosen you as her owner, [May](VJ5ZSGKD). She now belongs to you."

[May](VJ5ZSGKD) cried tears of joy and promised, "Thank you, [Uncle Tama](HPRL4RQ3). I’ll be the best owner [Paleface](B29BSVRV) could ever have!"
