Once upon a time in the land of Metalville lived two best friends: [Maggie](WR5K4DBQ) the Magnet and [Ned](TFYJQLNQ) the Neodymium. [Maggie](WR5K4DBQ) was long and red with a silvery smile, and [Ned](TFYJQLNQ) was tiny but SUPER strong.

1

One sunny morning, [Maggie](WR5K4DBQ) woke up and stretched her magnetic poles. "North!" "South!" [Ned](TFYJQLNQ) yawned excitedly. They decided to zip around the house to attract some fun.

2

They zoomed across the room and found a spoon on the floor. [Maggie](WR5K4DBQ) shouted, "Time to do my MAGNETIC MAGIC!" She whooshed toward it—CLINK!—it stuck right to her!

3

[Ned](TFYJQLNQ) zipped up and tried the same thing—KAZAP!—he stuck to the spoon AND [Maggie](WR5K4DBQ)! "You stuck to me again, [Ned](TFYJQLNQ)!" [Maggie](WR5K4DBQ) giggled. "Sorry! I can’t help it!"

4

Curious about why they stick to some things but not others, [Maggie](WR5K4DBQ) and [Ned](TFYJQLNQ) decided to visit [Professor Coppercoil](PP94BTM9), the wisest magnet expert in town. She lived on top of the fridge.

5

"Magnets stick to materials like iron, steel, nickel, or cobalt," explained [Professor Coppercoil](PP94BTM9). "But NOT bananas!" [Maggie](WR5K4DBQ) and [Ned](TFYJQLNQ) laughed, realizing why they didn’t stick to everything.

6

The professor also explained how magnets have two poles—North and South. "Opposites attract, but like poles repel!" she said. [Maggie](WR5K4DBQ) and [Ned](TFYJQLNQ) tried it, bouncing their poles apart!

7

Back down on the floor, [Maggie](WR5K4DBQ) and [Ned](TFYJQLNQ) played, sticking to metal objects like the fridge, scissors, and radiators. But they got puzzled when they found a shiny button and couldn’t stick to it!

8

[Professor Coppercoil](PP94BTM9) called out, "That’s plastic, not metal! No iron—no stick!" [Maggie](WR5K4DBQ) and [Ned](TFYJQLNQ) laughed, learning more about what they could and couldn’t attract.

9

After a long day, [Maggie](WR5K4DBQ) and [Ned](TFYJQLNQ) snuggled back in their drawer. "I’m positive being magnetic is the most attractive thing about us," [Ned](TFYJQLNQ) joked. They both giggled and drifted to sleep.
