It was a sunny morning, and 5-year-old [Leonardo](5G67YDG2) stepped out into the backyard with his magnifying glass. Today, he felt like a little explorer!

1

[Leonardo](5G67YDG2) spotted a tiny ladybug resting on a leaf. 'Hello, little one!' he said, softly poking the leaf. The ladybug wiggled its antennae back at him.

2

Walking further, he saw a shiny green beetle crawling slowly. 'Why are you so shiny, beetle?' [Leonardo](5G67YDG2) asked, trying not to touch it.

3

Suddenly, [Leonardo](5G67YDG2) saw a butterfly land on a bright flower. Its wings looked like tiny rainbows. 'You’re so beautiful!' he said, clapping his hands.

4

Feeling adventurous, [Leonardo](5G67YDG2) saw a long line of ants carrying crumbs. He reached out to poke them but stopped. 'What are you doing?' he wondered.

5

The ants didn’t notice him and kept marching. [Leonardo](5G67YDG2) thought, 'They must be very busy! I’d better not disturb them.'

6

[Leonardo](5G67YDG2) stopped at a buzzing sound. A bee hovered near some lavender flowers. 'Oh! You’re gathering nectar for honey!' [Leonardo](5G67YDG2) exclaimed.

7

Looking around the yard, [Leonardo](5G67YDG2) said, 'Every insect has a job to do. I won’t bother them because they’re working hard, just like me at school!'

8

As the sun began to set, [Leonardo](5G67YDG2) whispered, 'Thank you, bugs, for letting me meet you today. I’ll take care of you and your home.'

9

Walking inside, [Leonardo](5G67YDG2) smiled. He had learned that even the tiniest creatures are important and deserve kindness. What will you discover in your own backyard?
