[Kimo](W95YDZY3) the Hedgehog was having a tough day. His block tower tumbled down. His crayon broke in half. And then—someone sat in his favorite spot!

[Kimo](W95YDZY3)’s face got hot. His fists got tight. His spikes stood up straight. “I’m ANGRY!” [Kimo](W95YDZY3) shouted.

[Kimo](W95YDZY3) stomped his little feet. He wanted to yell louder. He wanted to throw things. But then—[Kimo](W95YDZY3) remembered something.

“Anger is a big feeling,” he whispered. “And big feelings need calm.” [Kimo](W95YDZY3) curled into a little ball.

He took a deep breath in… *snfff!* He blew a long breath out… *pfffff!* He tried again. Breath in… *snfff!* Breath out… *pfffff!*

With each breath, his spikes felt softer. His fists opened up. His face cooled down.

[Kimo](W95YDZY3) slowly uncurled. The angry fire inside was smaller now. [Kimo](W95YDZY3) told himself, “It’s okay to feel angry. I can breathe, I can pause, and I can choose what to do.”

He picked up his broken crayon. “I’ll use the other half,” he said. He built his tower again, block by block.

And when someone sat in his spot, he found another cozy place to sit.

[Kimo](W95YDZY3) felt proud. The anger came… and the anger went. And [Kimo](W95YDZY3) was still [Kimo](W95YDZY3)—safe, calm, and strong.
