[Nurse Clara](NC6M6BBV) measured [Jaden](BWRF7H6D)’s height and weight. 'You’ve grown taller!' she said. [Jaden](BWRF7H6D) beamed with pride. Then, she gently wrapped a band around his arm to check his blood pressure.

Next came a little finger prick to get a tiny drop of blood. 'You’re so brave, [Jaden](BWRF7H6D)!' [Nurse Clara](NC6M6BBV) said. [Jaden](BWRF7H6D) looked at the bandage with a little smiling star on it and smiled himself.

Then it was time to see [Dr. Carter](M26N4J93), [Jaden](BWRF7H6D)’s doctor. [Dr. Carter](M26N4J93) had a kind face and glasses that made his eyes look sparkly. 'Hi there, champ!' he greeted [Jaden](BWRF7H6D).

[Dr. Carter](M26N4J93) listened to [Jaden](BWRF7H6D)’s heartbeat with a stethoscope. 'Strong as ever!' he declared. [Jaden](BWRF7H6D) giggled as the stethoscope made his chest feel a little chilly.

[Dr. Carter](M26N4J93) explained to [Jaden](BWRF7H6D) and his mom how his medicine, Hydroxyurea, helps his red blood cells. 'This keeps you feeling good and ready for all your adventures!' he said.

When the appointment was over, [Jaden](BWRF7H6D) got to pick a sticker from the big sticker box. He chose one with a superhero on it. 'That’s just like you!' [Nurse Clara](NC6M6BBV) said.
