[Evan](RML2VSGC) and [Nora](5L79PNHQ) were the best of friends, and nothing made them happier than thinking about their beloved dog, [Marley](JHZBHMNR). [Marley](JHZBHMNR) had moved to the moon—not because she didn’t love them, but because friendly, giggling aliens needed a champion ball-fetcher.
‘We have to see her!’ [Evan](RML2VSGC) declared, determination shining in his eyes. [Nora](5L79PNHQ) nodded, her pigtails bouncing. 'We’ll build a rocket!' And so they did, using shiny cardboard boxes, sparkly tape, and bottle caps for buttons. [Evan](RML2VSGC) drew fiery red rockets on the sides, and [Nora](5L79PNHQ) painted stars that shimmered in the sun.
As they stood back, admiring their creation, the wind whispered through the trees, rustling the tape and making it shimmer like real space metal. ‘Ready for launch?’ [Evan](RML2VSGC) asked, gripping a juice box labeled 'Rocket Fuel.' [Nora](5L79PNHQ) climbed inside, clutching her favorite squeaky toy for [Marley](JHZBHMNR). 'Ready!' they shouted.
‘Five! Four! Three! Two! One! BLAST OFF!’ With a swoosh (imagined, of course), the rocket lifted off the ground. They soared past cotton candy clouds, waving at sheep as fluffy as pillows. A dazzling rainbow slide stretched from Earth to the moon, twisting like a giant ribbon.
Suddenly—whirl! flash! zoom!—a meteor shower appeared! Shooting stars zipped past, leaving trails of golden dust. ‘Hold on!’ [Evan](RML2VSGC) shouted, flipping an imaginary switch. The rocket dodged and danced through the starlit obstacle course, weaving between meteors until finally, they landed with a soft thump.
There, bouncing and barking with joy, was [Marley](JHZBHMNR)! She wore a sparkling alien collar, her tail wagging so hard she nearly took off again. Behind her stood the aliens—small, round creatures with wiggling antennae. Their laughter sounded like tiny bells.
‘We were hoping you’d visit!’ one alien chirped, handing [Evan](RML2VSGC) and [Nora](5L79PNHQ) moon rocks that tasted like blueberries. They spent the day playing fetch with [Marley](JHZBHMNR) in the moon’s low gravity. They giggled, jumping so high they felt like astronauts.
[Marley](JHZBHMNR) ran to a moon crater, pawed at the ground, and unearthed a shimmering star-shaped rock. ‘For us?’ [Nora](5L79PNHQ) asked. [Marley](JHZBHMNR) barked, nudging it into her hands. [Evan](RML2VSGC) grinned. ‘Now we have a piece of the moon to remember her by.’
As Earth started peeking over the lunar horizon, it was time to go. They hugged [Marley](JHZBHMNR) tight, whispering promises of more adventures. Back in their cardboard rocket, they soared home, the star-shaped rock glowing softly beside them.
Back home, [Evan](RML2VSGC) and [Nora](5L79PNHQ) placed the star-shaped rock by their bed. As they drifted off to sleep, they dreamed of their next adventure. Because no matter where [Marley](JHZBHMNR) was—even on the moon—she’d always be their best friend.
