It was a sunny morning, and [Ben](TXKGGVLR) was already swinging his plush monkey around, shouting, 'Zoo day!' [Greta](4JCR73CN) laughed and said, 'Let’s see some tigers and elephants today!' Mom packed them sandwiches, water bottles, and a camera for their big adventure.

At the zoo’s entrance, [Ben](TXKGGVLR) and [Greta](4JCR73CN) gasped. 'Look!' said [Greta](4JCR73CN). A giraffe's long neck stretched over the gate, waving hello. An otter splashed in a small pond nearby, and birds chirped around them. The zoo was alive with sound!

First stop: the lion’s den! [Ben](TXKGGVLR) peeked through the glass window. The lion, King Leo, yawned loudly, showing his big teeth. [Greta](4JCR73CN) said, 'I think he just had lunch.' She pointed at a pile of bones beside him.

Next, they visited the playful monkeys! One monkey swung on a vine and stole [Ben](TXKGGVLR)’s hat. 'Hey, come back!' [Ben](TXKGGVLR) laughed. [Greta](4JCR73CN) giggled as another monkey hung upside-down and copied her waving hand.

They wandered to the aquarium next. 'Whoa!' said [Ben](TXKGGVLR) as a giant turtle swam by. [Greta](4JCR73CN) pressed her face to the glass. 'Look at the jellyfish—they’re glowing!' she whispered. The underwater world was magical.

Then, there was a loud trumpet sound. 'The elephants must be nearby!' said [Greta](4JCR73CN). Sure enough, she was right. One baby elephant was playing with a beach ball, and the big ones sprayed water with their trunks.

After a busy day, they rested in the picnic area. [Ben](TXKGGVLR) munched his sandwich and said, 'This is the best zoo trip ever!' [Greta](4JCR73CN) took a sip of her juice box and smiled, 'And we still have the gift shop to explore!'

At the gift shop, [Greta](4JCR73CN) picked a soft elephant plushie. [Ben](TXKGGVLR) chose a shiny keychain with a monkey on it to remember their adventure. 'Let’s come back soon!' said [Greta](4JCR73CN). [Ben](TXKGGVLR) nodded, 'Definitely!'

As they left the zoo, the sun was setting, painting the sky orange and pink. 'Bye, zoo!' they both shouted. The giraffe stretched its neck again as if to wave goodbye. 'See you soon!' said [Greta](4JCR73CN).

That night, as they got ready for bed, [Ben](TXKGGVLR) hugged his stuffed monkey and [Greta](4JCR73CN) held her new elephant plush. They both dreamed of lions, monkeys, turtles, and elephants until the next adventure.
