[Ben](TW5Z2WK4) and [Emory](BQTW9327) arrived at the zoo as the gates opened. A giraffe statue greeted them, holding a big ‘Welcome!’ sign. Maps in hand, they were ready for an adventure!

First stop, the lion habitat! The mighty lions stretched lazily in the sun. A cub played with a ball, making [Emory](BQTW9327) laugh.

Next, they visited the butterfly garden. Hundreds of butterflies fluttered around flowering plants, painting the air with their colors.

At the reptile house, they met a green iguana named Iggy. [Emory](BQTW9327) thought its scaly skin looked like a dragon, and [Ben](TW5Z2WK4) pointed out its long, sharp claws.

The penguins were next, waddling and diving into the cool water. [Ben](TW5Z2WK4) and [Emory](BQTW9327) both agreed: they were the cutest animals so far.

At the elephant area, they saw a family of elephants. One baby sprayed water from its trunk, soaking a nearby keeper and making everyone laugh.

As the sun climbed higher, they cooled off with some icy lemonade from the snack stand, watching colorful parrots flying in the aviary.

The zoo train took them around to exotic habitats. They loved the zebras and giggled at the ostrich running alongside the train.

Ending the day, [Ben](TW5Z2WK4) and [Emory](BQTW9327) visited the petting zoo, feeding goats and brushing a shaggy llama named Charlie.

As they left the zoo, [Ben](TW5Z2WK4) and [Emory](BQTW9327) waved goodbye to the giraffe statue. 'Let's come back soon!' [Emory](BQTW9327) said, and [Ben](TW5Z2WK4) wholeheartedly agreed.
