I am going to school today. Come and follow me! I will show you all the wonderful things I got to see.

At first, I met my teacher. His name was [Mr. Pete](2ZQM7CTG). He took me to the classroom and told me to take a seat.

I sat next to a girl named [Josie](CZGPTGG5). Her star jumper was super cool! She showed me her new bag and shoes her parents had bought for school.

[Mr. Pete](2ZQM7CTG) showed us the alphabet, then he asked us to count to ten. He showed us pictures of animals. We saw cows, sheep, and hens.

Lunchtime was so much fun. We had yummy things to eat! Then we got to play outside—oh, it was such a treat.

[Josie](CZGPTGG5) and I played with balls. Then we started to skip. We chased each other up and down and ran so fast we tripped!

Soon, it was time to go back in, but we weren’t ready yet. We dashed through the swings and slides to make the most of recess!

Back in class, we drew pictures of animals and trees, and [Mr. Pete](2ZQM7CTG) smiled and said, 'Great work, everyone, I’m so pleased!'

The day flew by so quickly, soon it was time to end. [Josie](CZGPTGG5) and I packed our bags, happy we’d made a new friend.

I hugged [Josie](CZGPTGG5) and said goodbye, and smiled the whole way home. I couldn’t wait for tomorrow to see all the things to come!
